مشكلة الدراسة : تلخصت مشكلة الدراسة في التعرف على واقع الخدمة الاجتماعية في المجال الطبي من وجهة نظر المرضى .
أهداف الدراسة :
1. الوقوف على رأي المرضى في حقوقهم المقدمة لهم في مستشفيات صحة المدينة المنورة.
2. محاولة التعرف على رأي المرضى في دور الأخصائي الاجتماعي الذي يؤديه في المستشفى.
3. معرفة رأي المرضى في الخدمات المقدمة لهم من قبل الأخصائي الاجتماعي.
4. التعرف على إمكانية وجود فروق في استجابات المرضى نحو مستوى تقييم واقع الخدمة الاجتماعية في المجال الطبي في مستشفيات صحة المدينة المنورة، وذلك في ضوء المتغيرات الأساسية الخاصة بالمرضى.
مجتمع وعينة الدراسة : يتكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع المرضى المنومين في مستشفيات صحة المدينة المنورة حيث كان عدد المرضى المنومين هم (500) مريض و مريضه حسب الإحصاءات التي زود بها الباحث من المديرية العامة للشؤون الصحية بمنطقة المدينة المنورة . وقد حدد مركز الإحصاء عينه بقوام لا تقل عن (217) مبحوث قام الباحث باختيار عينة عشوائية بسيطة قوامها (230) مريض ومريضه حيث يعد هذا العدد مناسبة لإجراء الدراسة.
منهج الدراسة وأدواتها :استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي باستخدام الاستبانة كأداة لجمع البيانات .
أهم النتائج : أكدت نتائج الدراسة على الآتي:
1. أن المستشفى تقدم لي رعاية متكاملة تناسب حالتي الصحية, واجد من العاملين بالمستشفى معاملة طيبة منذ بداية إقامتي, واعلم ان المستشفى تحافظ علي سرية معلومات المريض, واستطيع ان ارفض مقابلة أي شخص لا علاقة له بتقديم الرعاية الصحية لي, ولي الحق في الحصول علي تقرير عن حالتي الصحية ونتائج الفحوصات الطبية بكل دقة وموضوعية.
2. على أن الأخصائي الاجتماعي يقدر حاجة المريض لوجود مرافق له بعد استشارة الطبيب المعالج ، يناقش الأخصائي الاجتماعي الحالات الخاصة الرافضة للعلاج مع الأطباء المعالجون ، قيام الأخصائي الاجتماعي بتسجيل المعلومات الخاصة بي وفق نماذج معتمده بين آن وآخر ، يحسن الأخصائي الاجتماعي طرق التواصل ما بين المريض والفريق المعالج ، يستطلع الأخصائي الاجتماعي آراء المرضى للتعرف على الجوانب الإيجابية والسلبية للخدمات التي تقدم لهم بالمستشفى .
3. أن الأخصائي الاجتماعي يوضح لي التزامه التام بالحفاظ على سرية وخصوصية المعلومات الخاصة بي ،ويقدم الأخصائي الاجتماعي كل الدعم النفسي والاجتماعي لي ، يستشيرني الأخصائي الاجتماعي بضرورة وجود مرافق لي عند الحاجة ، يتعرف الأخصائي الاجتماعي على رأي المرضى ومرافقيهم حول الخدمات الطبية المقدمة لهم ، يحاول الأخصائي الاجتماعي دائماً التحقق من حصولي على الخدمات اللازمة لي .
أهم التوصيات:
1. التنسيق بين الأخصائي الاجتماعي والطبيب بشكل مستمر لمساعدة المرضى على اتخاذ قراراتهم الخاصة بالخطة العلاجية.
2. وضع برامج تدريبية مكثفة للأخصائيين الاجتماعيين باستخدام التقنيات والمهارات الفنية التي تواكب التطورات في المجالات الطبية الحديثة .
على الأخصائي الاجتماعي مرافقة الفريق الطبي في جولاته اليومية باستمرار لمعرفة ما يستجد على أوضاعهم الصحية.

Study Problem: The study problem is identifying the reality of social service in the medical field from the perspective of the patients.

Objectives of the Study:

1. Knowing the opinion of the patients in terms of their rights that are provided to them in the hospitals in Madina.
2. Attempting to identify the opinion of the patients on the role of the social specialist in the hospital.
3. Knowing the opinion of patients on the services provided to them by the social specialist.
4. Identifying the possibility of having differences in the patients' responses towards the level of assessment of the reality of social service in the medical field in the hospitals in Madina in the light of the main variables of the patients.

Study Population and Sample: The study population consists of all inpatients in the hospitals in Madina, where the number of inpatients was (500) male and female patients according to the statistics provided to the researcher from the Directorate General of Health Affairs in Madina. The Statistics Center has identified a sample of not less than 217 respondents, where the researcher chose a simple random sample of (230) male and female patients, and where this number was appropriate to conduct the study.

Study Methodology and Tools: The researcher used the descriptive analytical method using the questionnaire as a tool for data collection.

Main Results: The results of the study confirmed the following:

1. The hospital offers comprehensive healthcare that suit my health condition, and I found that the hospital staff are treating me well since the beginning of my stay, and I know that the hospital maintain the confidentiality of patient information, and I can refuse to see anyone who has nothing to do with the provision of health care to me, and I have the right to receive a report on my health condition and medical test results accurately and objectively.
2. The social specialist values the patient's need for the presence of companion to him after consulting with the treating doctor, where the social specialist discusses the special cases that refuse treatment with the treating doctors, the social specialist's registering my information according to the approved forms from time to time and the social specialist is improving the methods of communication between the patient and the treating team, and the social specialist can obtain the views of patients to identify positive and negative aspects of the services provided by them in the hospital.
3. Te social specialist has showed me his full commitment to maintain the confidentiality and privacy of my information, and the social specialist provides all psychological and social support to me, and the social specialist consults with me for the need of a companion for me when needed, and the social specialist gets to know the opinion of patients and their companions on the medical services provided to them, and the social specialist is trying always to ensure that I get the services needed for me.

Main Recommendations:

1. Coordination between the social specialist and the doctor on an ongoing basis to help patients make their own decisions for the treatment plan.
2. The development of intensive training programs for social specialists using the technologies and technical skills that keeps pace with the developments in the modern medical fields.
The social specialist must accompany the medical team in his daily tours constantly to know any development in their health conditions.
