مشكلة الدراسة: تتمثل مشكلة الدراسة في التساؤل الرئيس التالي: ما مدى نجاح وتطور العلاقات السعودية التركية المعاصرة في ضوء الأبعاد الاستراتيجية المشتركة بينهما؟
أهداف الدراسة: تهدف هذه الدراسة للتعرُّف إلى أهم الأبعاد الاستراتيجية المعاصرة لتطوير العلاقة بين كلٍّ من السعودية وتركيا . وتقييم الواقع الحالي الذي يعكس تلك العلاقات على مستوى قضايا المنطقة، واستشراف مستقبل العلاقة بين السعودية وتركيا في ضوء المتغيرات الإقليمية.
مجتمع الدراسة: عينة من الدبلوماسيين، والباحثين، والمهتمين بالشأن السعودي – التركي.
منهج الدراسة وأدواتها: استخدم الباحث الطريقة التاريخية، والطريقة الوصفية، وطريقة تحليل السيناريوهات، لفهم الجذور التاريخية للعلاقات بين الطرفين، وتوصيفها وتحليلها. واعتمد الباحث في هذه الدراسة على أسلوب المقابلة الشخصية؛ للاستفادة من وجهة نظر المختصين والمتابعين لهذا الملف، بالإضافة إلى أسلوب الملاحظة المباشرة من أجل وضع صورة كاملة لشكل العلاقات بين البلدين.
أهم النتائج:
1- أنَّ المملكة العربية السعودية تتمتع بعمق استراتيجي ديني، واقتصادي وجغرافي.
2- أنَّ تركيا تمتلك عمقاً استراتيجياً كبيراً في الشرق.
3- أنَّ الأساس الاستراتيجي في العلاقات السعودية التركية، يحدد المسار الذي ترغب فيه الدولتان السعودية وتركيا، في علاقاتهما الجيواستراتيجية المستقبلية.
أهم التوصيات:
1- استمرار تنشيط العلاقات السعودية التركية، ودعمها بالاجتماعات المتكررة، وبالاتفاقيات الثنائية، بهدف ضمان إرساء علاقات متميزة تكون قدوة لدول مجلس التعاون الخليجي.
2- دفع العلاقات الاقتصادية بين تركيا والسعودية إلى مستويات عليا ، لأن إمكانيات تركيا الاقتصادية تلائم السعودية ودول مجلس التعاون الخليجي، وتكون منفذاً للفوائض المالية الخليجية التي تبحث عن فرص استثمار آمنة.
3- أن ترسم الدولتان السعودية وتركيا سياسة مشتركة لمواجهة السيناريو الإيراني القائم على استمرار تهديدات إيران للمنطقة، والعمل المشترك لبناء منظومة سياسية ودفاعية تعزز العلاقة البينية بين البلدين.

Study Problem: This study is based on answering the question: What is the extend of success and development of the contemporary mutual relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and turkey?
STUDY Objectives: This study aims to identify the most important contemporary strategic dimensions of the development of the relations between the kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Turkey together with the assessment of the current situation which reflects these relations on the level of the region's issues , It also explores the future of these relations between the two countries in the light of the regional variables.
Study Population: The study sample includes a number of diplomats, researchers, and those concerned with the Saudi – Turkish affairs.
Research Methodology and Tools: The researcher used the historical, descriptive, and analysis of the approach of future scenarios methods in order to understand the history of the relationship between the two countries as well as its characterization and analysis. Throughout this study, the researcher adopted the personal interview method, in order to take advantage of the viewpoint of specialists and observers concerned with this file in addition to the method of direct observation in order to develop a complete view of the relations between the two countries.
Main Results:
1. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has a deep religious, economic, and geographic strategy.
2. Turkey possesses a firm strategic hold in the East.
3. The strategic basis of the Saudi - Turkish relations determines the desired path by the two countries in their future geostrategic relations .
Main Recommendations:
1Importance of continual activation and support of the Saudi - Turkish relations, through repeated meetings , bilateral agreements , in order to ensure the establishment of distinguished relations to to provide a model for the Gulf Cooperation Council countries .
2. The need of Promoting economic relations between Turkey and Saudi Arabia to upper levels , because the Turkish economical abilities are suitable candidates for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Gulf Cooperation Council countries providing an outlet for Gulf financial surpluses that look for safe investment opportunities .
3. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Turkey should realize the importance of adoption of a joint policy to cope with Iran’s threats in the region and working through together to build associated political and defensive system in order to enhance inter-relationships between the two countries.
