N2  - مشكلة الدراسة: تتجلى مشكلة الدراسة في التساؤل الرئيس التالي: ما دور التقارب السكاني في المناطق الحدودية في تسهيل عمليات تهريب المخدرات والمؤثرات العقلية؟
مجتمع الدراسة وأدواتها: يتكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع ضباط حرس الحدود بالمنطقة الشمالية وعددهم (71) ضابطاً كما يشمل مجتمع الدراسة على جميع ضباط مكافحة المخدرات بالمنطقة الشمالية وعددهم (16) ضابطاً وأشتمل مجتمع الدراسة كذلك على جميع رؤساء الهجر والقرى بالمنطقة الشمالية وعددهم (23) خلال فترة إجراء الدراسة وبعد التطبيق الميداني حصل الباحث على (110) استبانة صالحة للتطبيق الميداني حصر شامل.
منهج الدراسة وأدواتها: استخدم الباحث في هذه الدراسة المنهج الوصفي باستخدام أسلوب تحليل المحتوى أو المضمون والاستبانة .
أهم النتائج: 
      أغلبية أفراد الدراسة موافقون على أن القيم تسيطر على سكان الهجر والقرى تجاه تسهيل تهريب المخدرات والمؤثرات العقلية.
 وأغلبية أفراد الدراسة موافقون على استغلال المهربين للقيم التي تسيطر على سكان الهجر والقرى تجاه تسهيل تهريب المخدرات والمؤثرات العقلية.
      أغلبية أفراد الدراسة موافقون بشدة على الكيفية التي تتم بها عمليات إخفاء المخدرات أو تسليمها في الهجر والقرى، والوسائل والعوامل المساعدة على ذلك ومن أبرز ملامح الكيفية : 
1-	يستخدم مهربو المخدرات الأجهزة الحديثة في تحديد مواقع إخفاء المهربات بعد دخولها الأراضي السعودية.
2-	عادة ما يتم تهريب المخدرات سيراً على الأقدام خلال فترة الليل.
3-	أفراد الدراسة موافقون بشدة على الصعوبات التي تواجهها قوات حرس الحدود في التصدي لدور التقارب السكاني في تسهيل عمليات تهريب المخدرات والمؤثرات العقلية في المناطق التي تكثر بها الهجر والقرى ومن أبرزها :
أ‌-	تأثير الموروث الاجتماعي لدى سكان الهجر والقرى من عدم إفشاء السر يصعب من عمل حرس الحدود في مكافحة تهريب المخدرات.
ب‌-	شدة الانتماء للعشيرة والقبيلة لدى سكان الهجر والقرى يصعب من عملية مكافحة تهريب المخدرات.
أهم التوصيات: 
1-	وضع البرامج التوعوية التي تقلل من تأثير الموروث الاجتماعي لدى سكان الهجر والقرى فيما يتعلق بعدم إفشاء السر المتعلق بتسهيل تهريب المخدرات.
2-	العمل على توعية سكان الهجر والقرى بخطورة تسهيل تهريب المخدرات على الفرد والمجتمع وضرورة التعاون لمواجهة هذه الظاهرة.
3-	تكثيف دوريات حرس الحدود على الشريط الحدودي المحاذية  للهجر والقرى القريبة منه .
4-	زيادة الحملات الأمنية في الهجر والقرى القريبة من الحدود للحد من تسهيل عمليات تهريب المخدرات والمؤثرات العقلية.
5-	فتح مكاتب  لإدارة مكافحة المخدرات في مراكز القرى والهجر القريبة من الشريط الحدود; Research Problem:  The main issue of the study  is ,determine in the following question: role of population convergence in border  regions in facilitating the smuggling of drugs and mental effects .
Study Society and Tools: Consists of the study society of all officers of border guards the northern area and the number(71) officers also includes the study society on all officers of the Forces against  drugs in the north region and number (16) officers and included a study society as well as to all heads of suburban, and villages ,at the north region  and number (23)during the period of the study after Field applied ,the researcher had got result of  application on the field (110) valid application for the applicable field, as comprehensive inventory. 
Research  Methodology and tools:  The researcher  has used in this study descriptive methodology by using  the method of content and Quiz analyzing. 
The Main Important Results :
The  Major of study individuals are agreed  that the values that dominated of villages and population concerning facilitating smuggling operations drugs and mental effects. 
The Major study individuals are agreed on smugglers utilization of the values that dominated  at suburban and Villages  population toward facilitating smuggling Operations  drugs and mental effects. 
The Major study individuals are extremely agreed  on how the processes of hiding drugs and handle  are conducted in suburban and village areas, the assisted means and factors in that, and the most important features of this are: 
1-	The drugs smugglers are using modern devices in specifying the locations of hiding the smuggled items after entering to Saudi Arabia. 
2-	The drugs smuggling is usually conducted Walking on  foot during  night period. 
3-	The study individuals are extremely agreed  on the Complicates that faced  the border  guards forces in encountering the role of population convergence in facilitating the smuggling operations of drugs and mental effects in suburban and Village  regions, the most important of which are: 
a)Social heritage effect of suburban Village population from uncovering secret is making it Complicated  to the borders guard to encounter drugs smuggling. 
b)The strong tribal and Relatives  belongingness of suburban and villages people is making it hard to the borders guard to encounter drugs smuggling.
Main Recommendations:
1-	Setting awareness programs that reducing the effect of social heritage of suburban and villages population in what is related to uncovering the secret that related to facilitating drugs smuggling. 
2-	Trying to enlighten  the villagers and suburban population of  the  danger of facilitating drugs smuggling on individual and community and the necessity of cooperate in order to face this phenomenon. 
3-	Intensifying borders guard patrols on borderlines parallel of  villages and suburban. 
4-	Intensive  security campaigns in villages and suburban nearby the borders in order to limit from facilitating the smuggling operations of drugs and mental effects.
