Study Title : Addiction of using the electronic devices and its relationship with social interaction and self - confidence of middle third grade students in Riyadh .

Research Problem : Is there a relationship between the addiction of using modern electronic devices and social interaction and self-confidence of the students in middle school in Riyadh ?
Study Population ( sample) : The society of the study is the third grade students in (males and females ) in middle schools in Riyadh , and the sample was selected randomly to about ( 600 ) students from the third middle grade in the east districts in Riyadh , during the second semester of the academic year 1434 /1435 H .
Research Methodology and toliy : The researcher was used the correlative descriptive approach as it is most appropriate for the research nature and the goal set by the researcher , the study was used the measure of electronic devices addiction prepared by the researcher and the measure of self-confidence prepared by Saleh Yahia Al Ghamdy and measure of mutual social relations prepared by Dr. Ali Al Sayed Khedr and Dr. Mohammed Mahrous El Shenawy .
Main Results :
1- There is a Reverse relation with statistical significance at the level 0.01 between use of the electronic devices and social interaction of the students in middle school in Riyadh .
2- There is a Reverse relation with statistical significance at the level 0.01 between use of electronic devices and self-confidence of the students in the middle school in Riyadh .
3- There is Statistically significance differences at the level 0.01 or less between males and females in the level of electronic devices addiction in favor of females .
Main Recommendations :
1- The need for parental interest by developing their educational and cultural level in order to prevent falling in psychological problems as a result of the addiction use of adolescent for electronic devices .
2- Provide and innovate activities and educational and cultural programs which focus on the positive aspects of the modern technology and how to benefit from its advantages and avoid its dangers .
3- The need to provide ways to protect the users of the electronic devices , especially to adolescents and young people to protect them from physical or psychological abuse .

مشكلة الدراسة : تتمثل مشكلة الدراسة بالتساؤل الرئيس التالي هل توجد علاقة بين إدمان استخدام الاجهزة الإلكترونية الحديثة والتفاعل الاجتماعي والثقة بالنفس لدى طلاب وطالبات المرحلة المتوسطة بمدينة الرياض؟
مجتمع وعينة الدراسة : مجتمع الدراسة طلاب وطالبات الصف الثالث متوسط بمدينة الرياض ، والعينة تم اختيارها بالطريقه العشوائية البسيطه وعددها ( 600 ) طالب وطالبه من الصف الثالث متوسط من أحياء شرق الرياض وذلك خلال الفصل الدراسي الثاني من العام الدراسي 1434 هـ / 1435 هـ .
منهج الدراسة : استخدمت الباحثه المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي بإعتباره أكثر ملائمة لطبيعة البحث والهدف الذي حددته الباحثه ، واستخدمت الدراسة مقياس إدمان الأجهزة الإلكترونية من إعداد الباحثه ومقياس الثقه بالنفس من إعداد صالح يحيى الغامدي ومقياس العلاقات الإجتماعيه المتبادله من إعداد الدكتور علي السيد خضر والكتور محمد محروس الشناوي .
أهم النتائج :
1- وجود علاقه عكسية ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى0.01 بين استخدام الأجهزة الإلكترونية والتفاعل الاجتماعي لدى طلاب المرحلة المتوسطة بمدينة الرياض .
2- وجود علاقه عكسية ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى0.01 بين استخدام الأجهزة الإلكترونية والثقة بالنفس لدى طلاب المرحلة المتوسطة بمدينة الرياض.
3- وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى 0.01 فأقل بين الذكور والإناث في مستوى إدمان الأجهزة الإلكتروينة لصالح الإناث .
أهم التوصيات :
1- ضرورة اهتمام الوالدين بالإرتقاء بمستواهم التعليمي والتثقيفي للحيلوله دون وقوع مشكلات نفسيه أو غيره نتيجة إدمان استخدام المراهقين الاجهزة الالكترونية .
2- تقديم وابتكار أنشطة وبرامج تعليمية وتثقيفيه تركز على الجوانب الإيجابية للمستحدثات التكنولوجية وكيفية الاستفاده من مزاياها وتجنب أخطارها .
3- ضرورة توفير سبل حماية للمستخدمين للأجهزة الإلكترونية وخاصة المراهقين ووصغار
